What iPhone do I have?
Apple never tells a website the model. The card uses the screen this browser reports and the iOS version in the user agent, then drops any iPhone that screen size or that iOS version rules out.

Read Model Name. That is the iPhone you have.
- 5
Tap Model Number if you need the A-number printed on the box and the SIM tray.
Screens that more than one iPhone shares
Sizes are CSS pixels in portrait. A later iOS version cannot be running on a phone that had not shipped yet, which is how a shared size sometimes collapses to one model.

If the list looks wrong
Display Zoom is the usual reason. A Pro Max set to Zoom reports the smaller phone’s screen and lands in that group. Standard view, then a reload, lines the size back up.
iPhone questions
Where does Apple print the model name?
Settings → General → About → Model Name. That row says iPhone 16 Pro, not a code. Tap the Model Number row and it switches to an A-number such as A3293, which is the regulatory identifier.
Can a website tell a 16 Pro from a 17?
Only when the iOS version makes the newer phone impossible. iPhone 16 Pro, 17, and 17 Pro share a screen. On iOS 18 the newer phones did not exist yet, so the match is the 16 Pro. On iOS 26 or later they share the size again and the page lists all of them.
Does Display Zoom break the match?
Yes. Display Zoom makes a larger iPhone report a smaller screen. Turn it off under Settings → Display & Brightness → Display Zoom, reload this page, or trust the name in About.
What about an iPad?
The same check runs. iPadOS often claims to be a Mac, so the screen size is what identifies it. Settings → General → About still has the official name.
